Task
Samsung sponsored the launch of the Matrix Reloaded Movie and needed online support for its promotional activity. They wanted to encourage creativce use of the phone's self-portrait feature.
Solution
We developed a movie redemption site which includes
- applicants sending pictures to the site from their phone
- winners make a claim online using their phone's IMEI number
- cinema ticket promotion and claim system
- gallery of commended photos
- synchronisation with Samsung Fun Club global registration system
- click-through tracking system
- full marketing stats analysis
Results
Billington Cartmell who we created the campaign doubled sales of the phone and won a Marketing Communications award for the campaign. We're sure we had nothing to do with it
